  17. Question 1: You can get a copy of the Power C compiler by calling them.  
  18. They are in Richardson, Tx, and while I don't have their number handy, 
  19. you can call directory assistance for it. Saddly, they do not have an 800 
  20. number.  The curent price for the compiler is 19.95 plus shipping and 
  21. handling.

  23. Question 2: because the book that comes with the compiler is an 
  24. *excelent* C dictionary and general reference book, worth (imho) more 
  25. than the cost of the compiler.  While the GNU C is about the same price, 
  26. and yes, it's more powerful, (though I note you didn't give any 
  27. information about obtaining it, either) it doesn't (the last time I saw 
  28. one) come with much documentation.
